The Finca

The Olivares estate is a real gem near the village of La Punta in Tijarafe.

It is an real estate full of subtropical plants and fruit trees, with many small winding paths through the lush grounds. Whether ornamental plants, shade trees, almond, guava or avocado trees, the botanical diversity is enormous. In addition, there are many places that invite you to linger, or that are a paradise for children with adventure toys.

The many shady spots and the view of the Atlantic Ocean in heavenly tranquillity characterise the approximately 7000 m² finca. The finca is located at an altitude of 720 metres and has a slight slope, offering new perspectives of the landscape and the sea from every location.

The finca, which can be reached via a paved road, has parking space for around 3–4 cars.

There are supply lines to two large water galleries and connections to the public water supply and the public electricity grid.

The houses

In addition to the renovated Canarian house of approx. 70 m² and an external extra room of approx. 20 m² of living space, the large finca also has 2 traditional Canarian pajeros (small barn houses) that have not yet been restored, a covered spacious workshop and a caravan.

The main house, consisting of 3 rooms, a kitchen, bathroom and storage room, also houses a studio of approx. 20 m² plus a bathroom (see floor plan). In addition, the house has a covered terrace surrounding it and a small outdoor kitchen.

There is also a separate room, about 15 metres from the main house, which is currently used as a recreation room.

The two Pajeros, which have not yet been renovated, could further increase the total living space and, in combination with the existing caves, also provide good tourist accommodation for nature-oriented and traditional living.

The surroundings

In the quiet rural area of the Tijarafe mountains, this property offers a truly relaxing and attractive retreat. Its proximity to hiking trails, such as the GR 130, which circles the entire island, and the GR 131, which runs across the entire volcanic ridge of the island, as well as many smaller side trails and several flat high-altitude trails, also make this location very interesting.

There are supermarkets, restaurants, bars and a hardware store nearby; the village of Tijarafe is less than a 10-minute drive away, where you will also find banks, pharmacies and much more.
